Match Preview - West Ham vs Rovers

Rovers look set to welcome back Brett Emerton and David Dunn for the trip to West Ham.  But Steven Reid is a doubt having not trained all week.

Although West Ham’s recent form has been abysmal (three 4-0 defeats in a row), our form at Upton Park under Hughes is anything but convincing (3-1 and 2-1 defeats respectively).  Add to that the Hammers 1-0 victory at Ewood this season.

But now that 6th place will only gain entry to the Intertoto, a win is a must, and although I don’t expect to see another battering for West Ham, now is the time for Hughes to rid Rovers of the Upton Park curse.
